Below is an overview of the various services that we have for our hosting. Some are included but others must be ordered as an additional service. All additional services ordered through our customercenter.
E-mail with 1000 MB e-mail storage
All our web hosting and email packages are including 1000 MB of e-mail storage. This can obviously be extended through the call center. Our e-mail servers support push mail / mail idle which is popular for desktop / laptop computers but also mobile phones. We have imap and pop, but also SSL on incoming and outgoing mail server.
Virus and Spam Control
Fastline's Virus and Spam Control is free and is also included on all our web hosting and e-mail packages. This is an advanced and the best spam and virus filter. You have full control of your own domain, you can control the strength of the filter, you can whitelist and blacklist e-mail addresses. You get full statistics of all spam and viruses for your domain.
E-mail aliases, forwarding, vacation messaging and our mail admin system
With our own developed web admin interface, so you can easily manage everything from Web, e-mail, database, etc. Information is simply himself. You can easily add, edit and delete new e-mail addresses. Setting up aliases, forwards and vacation messages is easily done completely by yourself. You control with our mail admin everything myself.
Webmail
Fastline is concerned that you, the user should be able to read your e-mail via the web quickly, safely and easily. That's why we picked the 2 best webmail on the market. Squirrelmail is for those who want an advanced webmail with shared calendar etc. Roundcube is the fast and easy webmail version. Webmails are on fastadmin.no
Subhosts (Web Hosting) such blog.yourdomain.com
With subhosts you can easily create even the hosting. Do you have Linux hosting, you can even create hvaduvil.dittdomene.no and it will act as a dedicated web hosting. Do you have windows hosting, we must create this for you. This is used often for those who blog, forum etc, when they have their own web space under the same domain.
Java, Jsp, Servlets and Tomcat
We are one of very few Norwegian hosting providers that offer Tomcat and Java hosting as an additional service. Everything is uploaded using ftp, automatically deploy but you also have complete control of the reload of your own pool trough web admin. Tomcat is the additional services and costs 49, - nok per month.
PHP 5
PHP 5 is a popular programming language, but many suppliers makes it difficult. We are one of the few worldwide hosting providers that also offer PHP with safe mode turned off. You can also control your own php settings through our regular web admin control panel
Virus & spam control
All customers on the e-mail if it is e-mail package or web hosting package with e-mail have free of viruses and spam scanning. It also includes an advanced control panel for spam and viruses. You control your own white lists and black lists. You can strengthen your spam filter, and you get a weekly report of all mail that is quarantined.
Htaccess (password protection)
On our Linux hosting, you can easily set up password protection for your folders / directories. You can create users with different passwords, you can create groups, etc. who have access to these folders / directories. This is the most secure password protection of your folders and a website can get.
Daily backup
Fastline offers daily backup, we take backup of all servers every night. Backup will be stored at 2 different locations so that we always have a secured version of our daily backup. You as a customer can use us to extract files etc from our backup. Restore the backup costs 499,- nok.
Multiple domains on same host
You can have as many domains as you only want at no extra cost as long as the domains registered and hosted by fastline.as. Your website will answer all your domain name as you wish and it will work with and without www. That way you ensure all forms of traffic to your website.

We have the following plugins: Perl, SA-Fileup, ASPmail 4, Asp Jpeg, Asp Upload, flash, Asp Image, AspEmail, Perl, JScript, SSI, JDBC, Java Beans, Flash / Shockwave, Python, Perl, Form-mail script, Zend, Javascript / DHTML, cgi, gdlib, Zend optimizer, ssl, htaccess, the media stream, mcryp, Silverlight, .net 3 and 4.0. Database web admins
We offer web admin interface for all our databases. MySql, MS SQL and PostgreSQL has its own web admin interface. This is good web admins that make it easy, and secure and manage your databases from anywhere you want. You get a username and password sent to you when you become a customer.
SSL Certificate
Fastline is a solid dealer of Digicert. Digicert is the oldest, safest and best provider of SSL certificates. They are unknown in most of European countrys, but one of the largest in the United States and has all the biggest companies on its list of customers. They are reasonable and the best in SSL certificates. SSL certificate is optional services and costs from 890 nok per year.

Web traffic
Fastline offers solid lines, we have 100Mbit full duplex lines with backup lines. We offer you the traffic amounts listed on the different web hosting packages. We offer your website fast and robust availability. All customers can of course order more web traffic trough our customercenter.
CMS & Publishing Solutions
Our hosting supports all types of cms and Publishing Solutions. From drupal, joomla, and all other Content management system that other companies develop and sell. Since we support php and asp and asp.net and all database types, we are a good choice for those who wish to have your web site along with a publishing solution.
Web apps phpbb, wordpress and other blog and forum
Fastline offers easy and free installation of phpbb and wordpress. All you need and do is log on fastadmin and choose whether you want to get free install phpbb (forum) or wordpress (blog) for your web hosting account. Everything goes automatically and within minutes everything is ready for use. But these are pre-installed since they are the most popular and most used worldwide by all users. Remember that you must have a subhost to install these and a mysql database. These can be ordered trough our customercenter if they are not included in your hosting package.
